Kensington Hill Oasis
Project overview:
Our Kensington Hill clients envisioned an outdoor retreat where family and friends could gather in a setting that felt both welcoming and memorable. The property’s steep backyard slope presented a challenge, but it also provided an opportunity to design a space layered with interest and character.
Through careful earthwork, we transformed the grade into a dynamic backdrop featuring a waterfall and pond that bring movement and sound to the landscape. Natural stone steps wind gracefully through the slope, surrounded by a curated selection of unique specimen plantings that provide texture and seasonal variety.
At the top, the design culminates in a series of gathering spaces: a fieldstone seating area, a dining patio, and a firepit for evening relaxation. Together, these elements create a backyard oasis that combines beauty, function, and year-round enjoyment.
